The City of Vista has established a food resource and delivery help-line for Chula Vista
residents to request food resources or food delivery. Residents can call (619) 476-5340
Monday through Saturday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., and Spanish speaking operators are
available. Food deliveries typically will be scheduled within 24 hours of receiving the call; most will be same-day delivery. There are no deliveries on Sundays.
The food help-line is just one of many resources the City is providing to its residents and
businesses. Other important assistance includes housing/eviction moratorium
(www.chulavistaca.gov/housing); information for seniors such as the You Are Not Alone
Program (619) 476-2417 where member of the Chula Vista Police Department Senior
Volunteer Program call to check in on seniors; and resources for small businesses
In addition, the City Parks and Recreation and Library staff are hosting a Virtual Community
where residents can obtain information on physical health, reading and education online at
www.chulavistaca.gov/virtual. Residents also are encouraged to call 2-1-1 for information on utility assistance, healthcare and more. The City’s website is updated daily on COVID-19 information at www.chulavistaca.gov/coronavirus.
