CHULA VISTA, CA (November 20, 2020) – Families will want to drive to Chula Vista to experience the free magical snowfalls, a must visit holiday event at Village Walk at Eastlake. In 2020 the magical snowfall, accompanied by choreographed music and lights, is December 3 – 20 each Thursday through Sunday at 5 p.m., 6 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Snowflake markers, placed 8 feet apart, are part of Village Walk’s commitment to social distancing this year so attendees can enjoy the annual snowfall experience. Children get free headbands and “magic” glasses to watch the snow falling in rainbow colors.
The man-made snowfall transforms Village Walk at EastLake into a winter wonderland, a favorite backdrop for people to use smartphones or cameras to take holiday photos and videos. New for this holiday season, families can take pictures with life-sized photo props including Santa, the Snowman, Elsa and Olaf which will be located throughout Village Walk at EastLake on the same days as the snowfall.
The man-made snow flurries, which dissipate upon touch, draws holiday visitors from throughout San Diego County, some to see their first snowfall and others to recall Christmas holidays in colder climates. The eco-friendly MagicSnow vanishes upon contact, leaving no residue. MagicSnow, which developed snow themed productions for Walt Disney Parks & Resorts, Universal Studios Theme Park, and the Christmas Spectacular starring the Radio City Rockettes, is producing the custom snowfall experience at Village Walk at Eastlake.
Village Walk at EastLake is located at the intersection of Eastlake Parkway and Miller Drive in Chula Vista (878 Eastlake Parkway, Chula Vista, 91914). The snowfall viewing area is located near the Koi Pond at the beautiful, open air European shopping village.
